Unfortunately that is not the case, but not for lack of trying. With a collection like that, you might be lead to believe that IвЂ™m fortunate enough to play drums for a living. (A rather large Tangerine Sparkle SE kit.) My love for GMS drum is so deep, that IвЂ™ll be placing for an order shortly for not one brand new GMS kit, but TWO. IвЂ™ve since amassed quite a collection of other GMS wares since then 7 snare drums and another GMS kit. I still have that kit.) Here we are, almost 10 years later and IвЂ™m here to tell you, itвЂ™s been true love ever since.

(It was a CL series kit with fancy lacquer finish called Flame Caribbean. I didnвЂ™t have a chance to experience what GMS had to offer until 2000, when I purchased my first GMS drum kit from a local drum shop. IвЂ™ve been aware of GMS Drum for many years based on the advertisements they would run in the drum magazines I was reading. If nothing else, I find that most folks tend to remember a nick name like Hater! (Long story short, itвЂ™s essentially my last name.) While it may seem like a rather unfortunate nick name to have, it has come to serve me well over the years.

Everyone who knows me inevitably ends up calling me Hater at some point. My name is Mark, but I should mention that few people in this world actually call me Mark. Let us begin the process of removing that вЂњslight disadvantageвЂќ I spoke of before by allowing me to introduce myself. Realistically speaking, why would anyone be looking at a blog on drum manufacturerвЂ™s website after all? If I were to hazard an educated guess, you are reading this because you either:ДЄ.) are interested in GMS drums but havenвЂ™t had the opportunity to test drive any GMS products, orД«.) You have experienced a GMS snare drum or even an entire drum kit and maybe even currently own some GMS drums. Maybe you donвЂ™t realize it, but we share a bond, you and I. You see, I have an idea about you and even why you are here. Unfortunately you are a slight disadvantage at the moment. I am referring to the people who are reading this right now. I feel as though I know something about you whereas you know nothing about me.

YouвЂ™ll have to forgive me because this feels a bit awkward.
